Well folks, not expecting much from this match after the last two displays at home.
Let’s hope Potter and staff have researched Derby a bit better than they did for Norwich and WBA.
West Brom’s set pieces are their forte and our zonal marking failed badly where Roberts was left to mark the giant Dawson at the far post for their first goal and the two Dutchmen failed with the basics to stop the Egyptian for their second goal.
Mulder, who was in fine form previously, has come back into the side and been very poor and is not commanding his area nor distributing the ball effectively.
Anyway, a glutton for punishment, I’ll be travelling up there for the match tomorrow and hoping for a turnaround in form.

With Potters penchant for rotating players, especially three games in a week, it’s anybodys guess what the team will be tomorrow.
Three at the back to counteract the Baggies aerial strength didn’t work on Wednesday so we may revert to our usual back four, we’ll soon see.

Another defeat and another disjointed, mistake riddled display.
After the experiment of playing three centre backs and two wing backs against West Brom, Potter continued with the same system and it duly failed again. He's becoming known as the tinkerman, chopping and changing players and playing them out of position as he struggles to find a side that can compete, with a similar pattern of desperate moves as previous failed managers.
We are on a downward spiral and need to find a way out fast as we tumble down the table.
We were all over the place as Derby dominated and the writing was on the wall early on when they had a goal by Keogh disallowed for offside.
Surprisingly it took until the 30th minute for Derby to score, Harry Wilson firing in unmarked from outside the box. Ten minutes later and McBurnie gifted the ball to Wilson for his second goal.
It was only Derby wasting chances that prevented another hammering. We finally woke up towards the end of the match, scoring from an own goal but it was too little too late.
Sixth defeat in last nine games, relegation form.

Thanks for the fan report Keith, much appreciated. Wasn't expecting anything at Derby after last 2 games, only listened on the radio but it sounded like the scoreline flattered us. Not sure why Potter is persevering with a back 3. He at least is taking responsibility for his setup but we can't afford to be playing catch-up. I'd like us to stick with a back 4 and I think he will now we're up against bottom half opposition.
