Alert Team
The Manchester derby, originally scheduled for 26th February, will now have to be rescheduled after the rags reached the final of the EFL cup which will take place that weekend.

In the meantime Maureen appears to have entered the same post-truth world inhabited by Donald Trump s he denies the reality witnessed on Thursday evening by the rest of humanity and can continue to claim that the rags are unbeaten in 18 games.......

"Jose Mourinho: Man Utd boss says 'it was 1-1' at Hull, despite 2-1 scoreline

Manager Jose Mourinho said his Manchester United side "didn't lose" despite being beaten 2-1 by Hull in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg.

"I only saw two goals," said the Portuguese. "It was 1-1."

I honestly though I had seen everything. Clearly I was wrong.

Its official then, Manchester United can make up their own score and because they have man in high influential places at the FA UEFA and FIFA, they will ratify this asap

Many of us suspected for years that the outcome was determined before they even stepped onto the pitch.

Skooorb - in another thread you are bemoaning the media not giving Southampton due praise for beating the mighty Scousers and yet here you are doing the same, ignoring a valiant effort by the North East Tigers and instead focusing on what the winning/losing on the night manager said in what is 'not his native tongue'.

So how about a 'Well done (plucky but unlucky) Hull! - Heroic Hull City Tiggers!

I think the 'losing manger' is familiar enough with the English language to know exactly what he is saying so I do not think there has been any mis-translation or mis-speak on his part. My point was his blatant failure to acknowledge the result himself in which he himself refuses to accept a defeat and as a participant acknowledge the success of his opponent once again proving what a dick he is. It is a bizarre comment and worthy of being ridiculed.

My previous reference to the Southampton result was rather a comment on the failure of the media - in particular the BBC - to acknowledge the result in a continuing sequence of poor results of another of our rivals and should perhaps been seen in the context of the "Institutional bias" thread on this forum.

Neither of these are intended to diminish the efforts of both Southampton nor Hull and I congratulate them on their excellent results and wish Southampton especially every success in the EFl Cup Final.

However, this is a forum for fans of Manchester City F.C. and so taking a pot shot at the manager of our rivals from just outside Manchester and his bizarre comments is, as far as I am concerned, fair game.

Maureen knew exactly what he was saying and that was an indirect go at the referee for giving a penalty and the rags surrounded the referee contrary to the rules and another factor in the way Liverpool and United are treated differently than the rest.

I could mention the way in which both Pogba and Smalling opted to throw themselves to the floor when the score was 1-0 to Hull in desperate attempts to win penalties. That sort of theatrics and attempts to con the referee probably cloud their judgement on genuine claims.

(theatric performances from players of other teams are also available) :103:

I didn't see the Smalling/Pogba penalty 'claims' as I wasn't glued to the tv watching the game - I had City related tasks to occupy myself with, so am unable to comment on the legitimacy of their actions.

But we shouldn't let Mourinho's comments detract from excellent performances from the Super Saints and the Terrific Tigers! - a team from 'just outside Manchester' are on the road to Wembley and congratulations to them on their achievement.

On the night football was the real winner - and that is the way it should be!
