According to this it will be on Sky Sports+On another tack, does anyone know if this will be a Sky+ game?
Unless the rights have changed, I think it will be audio only on Imps+? Is that correct?
Probably because it's basically a game that's an extension of pre-season and they're not generally well attended games (either home or away).Any idea why it’s straight to general sale?
Yes same here, hopefully sit where you want.Only gave the option for safe standing, so got two of those.
For the same reason, I put in a call to the club ticket line and left a message at 10:12. At 11:19 I got a call back. I was told I could buy in the singing section, but the general allocation had already sold out !! I was on like a shot for those singing tickets as I have a network of 19 and 13 wanted to go! We are in, but not so good for the 3 concessions I needed to buy.Waiting for some more Not Singing Section tickets to appear.
Have any of these actually been on sale for Derby, one of my gang cannot stand for long periods so need to have the best chance of them being seated.
The tickets on sale so far seem to be mostly "Singing" or "Standing Section". Very poor if people that cannot stand for longer periods do not get many tickets allocated this season.
I was online from about 10.05 and the odd time a Normal seat was available it had gone by the time I have changed my needed number of tickets to 3. Seems like the General Seats were very low in numbers. (Maybe taken by players/Staff) or just maybe not many given the away end at Derby might be mainly safe standing. For the same reason, I put in a call to the club ticket line and left a message at 10:12. Had this problem for the Port Vale game when all 19 wanted to go. When I logged in on the stroke of 10am, it only gave me the option of buying singing tickets. So I tried again and got the "there are no tickets available" sign, which then persisted for the next 20 mins, cue panic ! It then let me in, but still only singing tickets, so just grabbed what I could. One of my group needed to be relocated because he can't stand for a full game and I went in to the ticket office and they helpfully organised a swap of his ticket to the very front row where nobody would get in his way as such :- )=
Now today, the same problem, only singing tickets offered when I checked at 10am and then at 10:10, called the club and left message at 10:12, looked again at 10:30 (still only singing, tried experimental request of 4 tickets to see if it had anything to do with wanting 13 tickets, but still only offered singing). Again at 11am, can get 13 but singing only. Club called me at 11:19 and confirmed that all the general allocation had sold out, but I could get the 13 I wanted in singing. Cue a mad rush to get on-line and at least ensure we will be going to Derby !
Clearly, people had been able to access the general allocation for it to have sold out by 11:19 (or before). But this experience now has me severely worried about accessing the Middlesbrough tickets when they come up for sale. I just wish someone at the club might be able to explain why I am experiencing these difficulties while others have access to sell out the allocation ?? Is it sheer volume of traffic ? Is it me trying to access a large number of tickets, even though all on my network are season ticket holders and entitled? I'm at a point where I'm considering saying it's every man for himself and we'll all be sat all over the place instead of together !
May I suggest emailing the ticket office and explaining your dilemma; perhaps ask them to notify you if further tickets become available. The ticket sales announcement from three days ago states an initial allocation of 1,295 - if they are mostly sold out three weeks before the game, Derby may be willing to release more.Anyway my person who cannot stand is now not attending so got 2 safe standing tickets for me and the other person.
