Dempsey out long term?

The problem is that an money recieved almost certainly won't go back into the playing budget, whoever the manager is, either long term or short term.
But surely coming out of embargo is vital .Not being able to sign a player in a emergency means no left back etc.Yes a out of contract player is not ideal but it is better than none at all.If things stay as they are we are at best up against it.Any manager has one arm tied behind his back.I am not Evans biggest fan but definitely feel for him right now he is in almost a impossible situation.

Agreed, whoever the manager is is up against it until the embargo (or whatever it should be called ) is lifted. Any money we receive for any transfers (of either tucker or dempsey) would almost certainly be used to help remove that embargo. The question si what hampers the manager whoever he is more, the embargo or losing two of your more valuable assets.

If we have any ambition to stay up this season we need to keep both, but even better still would be to find the investment or money from other means to get the embargo lifted and keep your best players. Will that happen though, highly unlikely IMO.

It is very unlikely Scally will find investment to fund debt .The current plan appears to be to work through the debt and try to come out the other end looking for investment. These London meeting appear to point to someone or different people all interested but not now sort of thing that Scallyis trying to keep on board .

Aren't we due £400k from the Premier League any time now, as part of their Covid support? It would make sense to use that to pay off the loan. If Scally's already budgeted for that money to be used to pay everyday bill and wages, we really are in trouble...
