Delph

:026:

I always remember the appearance for England where he picked up an injury within 12 seconds or something daft :013:

Hope he does well

I think he has gotten his mind settled by knowing his career is going to be with City and so his game has improved.

Didn't train with England today, being assessed by their medical staff apparently.

Can't blame me for jinxing this Rising, seems he was crocked before he got there :013:

The meedja can go back to having go at Pep/City for not giving him a chance now that he's on the treatment table again.

We await updates on whatever is wrong with him this time.

Is a football the equivalent of Kryptonite to Delph? He seems incapable of being in the presence of one in a competitive game for more than a few minutes without being injured. :060:

Fabian Delph has withdrawn from the England squad.
The midfielder has returned to Manchester and will be assessed by the Club’s medical staff.

The 27-year-old had earned his first international call-up since November 2015, ahead of the Three Lions’ World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Lithuania.

Delph’s impressive performances have been a major talking point of City’s recent form.

He has featured in five of the Blues’ last six games, completing 90 minutes in three and scoring a stunning goal against Crystal Palace.

He played the full 90 minutes of City’s 1-0 victory over Chelsea on Saturday.
