Deadline Day ! What are we expecting at LCFC?

Well the echo have a transfer deadline day live up date - Luque and centre back and a right back mentioned!
Wow that will be Not Riveting(hope Scotimps prediction of nobody coming in happens then?)

Also Theo and Danny stood on the side of the pitch playing rock paper sissors to see if he’d stay

Think that must have been one of the most public transfers in history with about 3 minutes to spare, but I suppose we did get £20,000 out of it because of waiving the seven day rule.

I wonder if we may loose another player today unexpectedly ?

Can't help worrying that there's a chain involved again. I suppose this is the downside of setting your buying sights higher though.... Getting excited!

Leicester City have just signed a centre back... No I’m not talking about the Maguire chain, maybe this frees up Sam Hughes to come here...?
Good shout Danny has always liked him?

I just wonder if this is why we have maintained a longstanding interest in Luque without yet making a decision. If we assume we are maintaining 3-5-2 (and I'm fairly sure we are) and also assume Anderson is going nowhere, then I'm not sure I see the urgent need for Luque to join us.

If this rumour is true then I think it explains the reasons for the delay in making a decision on Luque and is likely to speed up his arrival.

That said, I have no idea on the reliability of the rumour, or whether Harry has a release clause in his contract or not.

I agree the Luque thing appears from the outside to be indecisive. Could be any number of other factors though I guess.

much earlier in the summer dc started talking about signing a left footed wide midfielder. then modified that to a wide left midfielder. last season luque operated as a wide left midfielder, but he's one who is mainly right footed that can also cross with his left. anderson is seriously right footed.
i think we have had luque on hold to a degree - and have been looking for the ideal signing in the meantime - a wide left midfielder that is left footed.
