Former England international Trevor Francis has died aged 69 after suffering a heart attack in Spain
Francis was Britain's first £1m footballer on completing a transfer from Birmingham City to Nottingham Forest in 1979.

Folk singer Roger Whittaker, famous for his 1969 hit song Durham Town and expert whistling, has died at the age of 87.

Former England manager Terry Venables has died at the age of 80 after a long illness.

Venables managed England from 1994 to 1996, most notably leading them to the semi-finals of Euro 96 on home soil.
He also had spells in charge of Barcelona, Tottenham and Australia.
