Top and tail of all this is that our club's communication towards it's supporters is woeful...not just on about the protracted takeover, where we were drip fed the square root of Jack Shit , but even down to the progress of injured players like Kyle. Some seem happy to be kept in the dark but others ( including me ) not quite as much.
It's not asking too much is it not to be treated as an irrelevance?.... we have always had much to learn as a club such as merchandise and you can add being kept upto speed with tit-bits like injuries to that list as well.
To be fair Hindley, "the club" didn't exist during the protracted takeover ..... everything was being controlled via the admins.
As for reporting on injured players, I suppose they'd have to consider the psychological impact on the player, announcing to the world about their progress and expected return, and whether or not this is helpful to their actual recuperation and recovery.
I suppose the issue is that in this age of information overload, our expectations are that much higher to be ben kept in the loop about everything. 70s, 80s, even early 90s, it just didn't happen, cos it wasn't possible.
