The M6 is horrendous at the moment - roadworks pretty much most of the way between Thelwall & Stafford.
I’ve travelled through it on different days and at different times and its had tailbacks on all of em.
A week last Sunday night, a 4hr journey home from up north took 6 & a half hours and the biggest chunk of that was that 50 odd mile stretch of the M6 - avoid it like the plague if you’re going to a game
