Their main, only, tactic was to sit deep and frustrate our attacks whilst looking for an opportunity to hit us on the break. Hence the game wasn't the most entertaining of spectacles!

Pools were worthy victors, as we were at least trying to entertain the crowd, however we did struggle to find a vital spark to unlock Dagenham's defence until Kitching popped up with the winner.

Still if we can win every game till seasons end by a goal to nil, even in such a dour manner, I'd be happy.

Agree OP and lets not forget, many is the time we would have lost this type of game with the canny opposition parking the bus and then hitting us on the break to sneak the win so like you, I'm happy with the three points.
