Mmmmmm - interesting weekend coming up it seems - just been very sick for the last two weekends and a hospital trip between for different reasons and now we have a bloody cyclone Cat 2 thats got itself lost and is meandering its way down south and now fancies a weekend on our coast and turned right and is heading over. Its currently 1200kms away but the gale force winds are only 300kms away, thats a blow force of 900kms!!!!! The waves are scheduled on Sunday at 8 metres and its a king tides around midnight and noon. But one wave forecast is showing 11 metre waves at the northern end of area. Last time we had a big downpour a few years ago, our road flooded and the next door neighbour lost 4 cars!!! There's a chance it will turn back north but we wont know for a couple of days!!! Mmmmmm time to batten down the hatches!!

Thanks sminks - Oma ( the cyclone) decided to turn turtle and head back up north so today was going to be the worst day with 200mm rain and high winds but we only have the high winds - oh and 8 metre seas so the surfers are happy!!!!

Health wise hopefully through all the shenanigans of the last 3 weeks and can get on with life, albeit with an extra pill for chlorestoerol!! Bloody maccas!!!
