Cup Matchday Thread - Bees v Cods

Let's be honest, tactically Joey has been found wanting in our last two away games. Mark Robins changed things at half time at St Andrews and Joey had no answer and again last week at Bolton, that wily old bugger Keith Hill showed what you can do with a well motived, well organised team. So a trip to a decent non-league team in the FA Cup is far from ideal.

Sure if we play our first team and play well, it should be a comfortable afternoon but this is the FA Cup a visit from a League 1 team will be motivation enough for Barnet.

It's a new ground for us (previously having lost to Barnet at Underhill in League 2) and so would have been expecting a decent following but the BBC decided that they wanted it to be moved to Sunday. Remembrance Day when most will be quite correctly wanting to pay their respects to those fallen whose sacrifice allows us the freedom to air our views on Message Boards such as this. Once again the fans views are ignored are we last in the queue to be consulted.

But back to the game, let's hope we start with our first team and get our noses in front. Always easier to defend a lead than chase the game from behind. Admit to thinking it's going to be a bit like Chorley a couple of years ago when we were fortunate to get away with a win. Will be happy with a draw and then we can do the business back at Highbury.
