Come on Runc.....Champions League Final...I'm sure anyone into football would have know it was on, as to the Challenge Cup, fair enough u didn't know it was on , similarly if there was a big Cricket Match / Rugby Union match on today I wouldn't know cos I don't follow those sports

I knew it was the CL final but wasn't aware of the kick off time. Although I like football, I don't follow European football.

So you are spot on jock. We take notice of things that are of interest to us and pass by things that aren't.

It was once a thing for fans of the sport to go to Wembley whether they supported the participants or not. There must be many less doing that these days.
 
I know the paper I read have a southern bias, but not having any mention of Wigans great win on Sat, I could not believe it.

The MSM can just put a link to this thread. Everyone would know Wigan won by the type of negative posts, which are all about refs, attendances, and nothing about the sheer dominance on the day by the victorious Warriors.

Hang on LoP.....if it had been Stains at Wembley on Saturday & they'd beat KR he'd have been all over this post extolling us all with how great it was ....yada yada yada, but because it was his closet favourites Warriors he has to try n find negatives that aren't there....apparently with less than 10 mins to go he awarded MotM to Liam Moore closely followed by his brother Aaron 🤔

An accidental shoulder charge ????? From a wigan referee and folk wonder why its not taken seriously or popular.
At that point i switched off and cleaned the toilet.
 
What a shame about john kear commentated on the final passed away on way home always loved his enthusiasm I will be honest im a big rugby fan just not our ground sharers RIP john
