Crowd Saturday ?

RE. Block D, Row L as usual.
I want to be there when these players suddenly remember that they were good enough to be top of the league and do it again.
Funnily enough after going ahead in the last home game I thought maybe they had. I hope there are plenty of paramedics around when all the people holding their breath on Saturday turn blue

I have to agree. The "crowds" reaction at the end of another defeat could be even worse than Harrogate. You would have thought that would have spurred them on against Bromley but Bonners assessment was spot on for me.

Lets hope none of the players cup the hand to the ear if they do score though - they need to show a bit of humility and win the fans back over a run of performances. A goal against Salford doesn't make you an effin gills legend fellas.

Maybe Cody could give an team talk before kick off on what it means to be a Gills legend.
Interesting in the unlikely event we score ,if it’s up the shower seal end no problem but the Rainham End if they cup the ears we would get a good indication who might not be here in January with a jolly wave off from the fans from here on in.

ST in block 3 RE means I'll always be there barring unavoidable commitments. Slightly wary about tomorrow but I've seen enough changes of fortune in the past. I remain tentatively optimistic but we'll see.

I think some of the criticism of players has been overdone, certainly as regards effort. It only takes one or two factors to disturb a team. A player wanting away and being advised by his agent over how to bring that about, a fallout between a couple of senior players, off field issues and 101 other things we might never guess. COYG

Surely it will be the lowest home attendance of the season so far. It's not as if Salford will help us out by bringing many.

I unexpectedly have a free Saturday and might have gone, but the weather forecast has tilted me against it. With some limitations on my mobility at the moment, I'm not so keen on getting frozen and soaked whilst watching a game that could turn into a lottery because of 50+mph winds - even though a lottery might improve our chances of winning.

The Dickensian Market at Rochester has been cancelled for this weekend so tht might add 3 or 4 to the crowd.

Seriously I reckon it'll be sub 4.5k today. The seating plan shows good sales but I suspect a lot of ST Holders will give it a miss toady.

Be great if they came along in costume. Bonner’s chestnuts roasting on an open fire……

Am i the only one that does not give a f about the crowd size lol.

It gives an indication of the overall health of the club. Decent and increasing crowds might encourage further investment in players/facilities.

Small or falling crowds might result in some belt tightening.

I am still hoping that the club might get a few new u-bends and the services of a plumber for the RE bogs. It's getting deep in there again. Small children will need life vests soon.
