Crowd Saturday ?

One of the many positives of the Galinsons take over was that the crowds came back. We have been up a few thousand each game on where we were.

Is that honeymoon about to end ?

I sit with season ticket holders and a few of them are saying no to saturday - just cant watch this shite anymore. Our plans to go to MK and AFCW have melted away as well....them and Col U are the last local away trips of the season so thats us done for travelling.

There really isnt anything to draw people to the games now so i cant see there being too many non ST holders buying tickets for tomorrow, poor weather as well.

Lowest home league gate ?

What a crying shame the Galinsons deserve so much more but I cant criticise anyone who gives this team a miss right now.

The club is great.....the team is poor and it hurts more as we cant look at a lack of investment for the reasons why

There would usually be 6 of us turning up (1 adult, 2 gimmers, 3 kids) but due to the poor weather forecast & the absolute shite being served up on the pitch - on Weds PM, I decided I'd be settling for watching at home with alcohol instead.

I was 100% behind my decision yesterday, but today, I'm starting to believe that a rejuvenated/massively-changed team might need some of my vocal support..! FFS Gills!!!

I have a feeling the team wont be changed much, how many times have we heard that.?

But i agree should it happen, should some of the kids get a game, support will be needed.

Good man!

Us four mugs will be there as well and who knows what is going to be served up. If it's true to recent form, utter shite but then again we might be pleasantly surprised.

I'll echo Martinkent's sympathy for the Gallinsons. They really don't deserve this shit and whilst Bonner is making his own problems it's the players that are really letting them down.

I'm not going, mainly because I have a family commitment. But if the football on offer was better, I'd be doing a bit more to get myself down to Priestfield tomorrow. looking on the ticket site, there are a lot of empty spaces all around the ground. Remember in September when the Rainham end was always sold out, not tomorrow.
Dickens Christmas, crap weather, crap football and a likely defeat many reasons why we will see our lowest gate of the season.... so far...

I’ll be going RE block 4.

I was planning on giving it a miss even before the Bromley defeat, somehow changed my mind after that awful turnout in favour of going now 🤣

The main reason I’m going is to catch up with some mates I’ve not seen in a while as my usual lot aren’t going.

If Bradley Dack gets some minutes might make it worthwhile.

If Bradley Dack gets a few minutes it'll a messianic miracle. How festive!

Weirdly, this game is a good part of why I'm glad I keep renewing my ST.

Probably a fair chance I would be giving it a miss otherwise, without having already paid up I suspect I'd be finding it all too easy to come up with excuses not to bother until I just get out of the habit of going completely.

I'm going Saturday, more morbid fascination than anything else.

I almost want to see how bad it is, and if I can lend any polite advice from where I'm sitting.

I have to agree. The "crowds" reaction at the end of another defeat could be even worse than Harrogate. You would have thought that would have spurred them on against Bromley but Bonners assessment was spot on for me.

Lets hope none of the players cup the hand to the ear if they do score though - they need to show a bit of humility and win the fans back over a run of performances. A goal against Salford doesn't make you an effin gills legend fellas.

Maybe Cody could give an team talk before kick off on what it means to be a Gills legend.
