Crisis at the Valley .

The Belgian owner has been clearing the decks for the sale and cutting costs across the board. He sounds like an absolute nightmare of an but who knows we may even have profited in picking up Charles-Cook and Hanlan. In more settled times at The Valley those two might not have been made available.

Charlton seem to be one of those clubs where their fans have continual conflict with the owners. Some of us will remember when they moved out of the Valley back in the 80s iirc and ground shared with West Ham and then Palace for a couple of seasons? There was a successful campaign by their fans to get them back home and they had a period of stability but looks like it has all gone wrong again. I look forward to their red and yellow flares being thrown on the pitch again when they next visit assuming the Belgian owner(s) are still there.

It certainly makes me golden wonder what their beef is with the current owners. Looks like the relationship there is frazzled.
