Went to Trent Bridge last night for the T20.
I am more of a fan of traditional cricket as it were but I did enjoy the razzmatazz and the atmosphere.
Was more or less a full house , as a test event everyone was either double vaccinated or had a negative test although the stewards only seemed to have a cursory glance at the pass.
Crowd was at least 50:50 so was a good atmosphere but also good natured, where football could take a few lessons.
As for the game , the good version of Pakistan turned up, helped by some not so great bowling hit the ball to all parts, then I think they definitely outfielded England which you don’t always expect . Despite some great hitting by Livingstone too many wickets fell early.
But it was great to be part of a crowd again watching some top class sport.
