Where does Danny get his management quotes from? Does anyone know what books he's been reading?

Today's quote in the Echo is "if you compromise on the process, you compromise the outcome".

I heard Gareth Southgate last night quote "own the process" about his players.

Football management speak appears to have moved on from "the boy done good"...
 
Sports Science and (Business) Management Theory mainly. "It's a process" is not just another meaningless soundbite for Danny and Nicky it's a mantra by which they manage.

1. Shout and heckle a lot
2. Be inconsistent
3. Have favourites.
4. Care only about yourself..
5. Be two faced.
6. Be greedy.
7. Never answer a question straight.
8. Undermine those that you work with.
9. Avoid being truthful.
10. Never back down.
11. Never apologise
12. Lastly don't appreciate those people who got you into that position.

Oh hang on I don't think that is the 12 rules management I think it is the 12 rules of being an MP :lol:

Reminds me that John Beck was always quoting from a writer called Wilferd Peterson (not Wilfred).

With that second one sounds more like Uncle Bob - oh wait - wouldn't he be taking them off ?
 
I believe when the red arrows fly over training ,it stops and Danny says " now thats a proper formation"
