#COVID19

I notice education sector is the only sector that thinks it should be higher up the vaccination list. They sit with the same 30? kids every day whilst a shopkeeper might face hundreds of different people a day. Who's more vulnerable?

You really are jam packed full of shite

Why would a tory plant be so anti-Murdoch and constantly criticise the tories?
Your trolling is getting weirder.

He constantly criticises Labour and the BBC. For every negative mention of Murdoch or the Tories there are comfortably a dozen about Starmer and the BBC.

Weird is an interesting term coming from a dude who believes aliens have taken him for an anal probe...

Awful. An old friend of mine passed away today with covid because of compromised immunity from chemo.
The Mrs says that the mortality in care homes is terrible and the numbers are truly upsetting.

The silver lining is positive infection rates are falling.
Next door neighbour passed away just before Christmas. He was terminal with lung cancer. Covid on the death certificate.

& because of the sheer incompetence & greed of this government they’ll have died alone in a plastic tent rather than with their family around.

It is utterly shameful & my heart goes out to those people & their families.

My elderly neighbour has been talking about killing himself since this all started.

He has been missing since Christmas. His house is empty.

OMG!!!! Awful.

Been keeping an eye on mine too, he lives alone and his daughter lives overseas.
I bake bread and cakes to take round to him, as an excuse for a chat so he has somebody to talk to.
We set up a village WhatsApp group when it all started so we could all check up on each other, some though don't possess the tech.

My neighbour, he's a Derby fan so fuck knows why I am doing it ;-)

Yes. It would be a really great idea to have a covid ward cluttered up with healthy well meaning relatives.

That is incredible that you a non family member was able to see the death certificate or that you are in contact with the relatives in a tier 4 area to find that out when they have had someone die from supposedly Covid related issues

Can't you talk to other people in Tier 4?

Meeting other people
It is against the law to meet socially with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble. You cannot leave home for recreational or leisure purposes (such as for a picnic or a social meeting).

Where and when you can meet in larger groups
There are still circumstances in which you are allowed to meet others from outside your household, childcare or support bubble in larger groups, but this should not be for socialising and only for permitted purposes. A full list of these circumstances will be included in the regulations, and includes:

  • for work, or providing voluntary or charitable services, where it is unreasonable to do so from home. This can include work in other people’s homes where necessary - for example, for nannies, cleaners, social care workers providing support to children and families, or tradespeople. See guidance on working safely in other people’s homes. Where a work meeting does not need to take place in a private home or garden, it should not - for example, although you can meet a personal trainer, you should do so in a public outdoor place.
  • in a childcare bubble (for the purposes of childcare only)

What is the issue with Covid being on a death certificate in those sort of circumstances? If someone has lung cancer - or indeed any lung/respiratory problem - and then they contract Covid, is it not reasonable to think that it would play a part in them dying earlier than expected?

And I believe that multiple causes of death can be detailed on a death certificate - surely it's not going to state Covid and nothing else?

How many cases in New Zealand or Australia? The government have been consistently one of the worst in the world on this one & it is almost entirely their fault that people are dying alone in plastic tents.

The first thing the butcher should do is apologise for missing all the early cobra meetings, it’s been a fuck up from before the start.
