I walked the big dog past the hospital earlier noticed 3 or 4 staff all wearing masks , has this become a thing again in the hospitals ? They were outside walking from A to B etc but all were fully masked up.

There are natural isolation and protection wards mate, if you watched long enough you'd have seen them do that every day a decade before Covid. I wouldn't worry.

i don't think they have those wards though at our local hospital

tested positive this afternoon. Been feeling rough so did a test. Think i may have caught it on the plane

Certainly looks like a natural shift towards not immunising. Over 65's I get, and those vulnerable.

Hospitalisations have gone up since the summer and a new variant is spreading. Should we be concerned?

On that, I probably won't get a jab, if offered, because even though I have underlying health conditions, I've had covid 3 times (2 with the jab) and it looks like they are now saying the jab only protects you 2 odd months and only if the mutations don't get around it.
