Corona Disruption - What do you have booked that is at risk?

Just wondering what plans, holidays, day trips etc people have planned that may now be at risk?

I have loads, and I'm worried I won't get refunds on most of it.

April 10th. 2 night trip to London for anniversary. Already paid £350 for a hotel (non-refundable), £50 for train, £160 for theatre tickets, and used a £100 Virgin Experience Voucher to book a meal.

End of May. Got a 5 bedroom house booked in Norfolk to spend a week away with my sister and her family and my mom and her partner.... will that still be allowed? Is that a group gathering? Will anything be open?

6th June - Queen at the O2 - £600 for 4 tickets!! (Ouch), Hotel £288 (non-refundable).

June 20th - Kasabian in Leicester, VIP ticket £120

15th August - Flights to Miami, 8 day Carribean Cruise, 5 nights in Florida Keys.... I won't even mention the money on this one....

What a nightmare. I assume gigs will be postponed and moved to new dates... but will I be able to make them?

Same with the thetre ticket, but if the hotel booking cant be moved or cancelled then thats that lost.

Trains? Unless the service is cancelled I'll lose that.

Flights? Cruises? Will they be going ahead? If both are cancelled i should be able to claim. If both are allowed then we'd have to go, we wouldn't be covered if we chose not to. If one or the other is cancelled but the other one goes ahead then I dunno where I stand with that.

Nightmare.

Mrs Sir Dennis 50th birthday in London , already paid for the hotel .

I wonder if you have paid by Credit Card you can do a Section 75 claim ?

Just my whole years ground rent on my static van in Wales which is nearly 4k plus rates electric etc and I might get banned from going there

Decent place to self isolate though.

It really is mate, I'd be there now if it wasn't for seeing the twins. Fantastic views of the sea and brilliant sunsets when it's sunny.
I was going to give it up as I can no longer afford it but changed my mind a couple of months ago

We had to give ours up 2 years ago as we went halves with the Mother in Law and she couldn't afford it any more. Miss it like mad tbh.

Kasabian with you.

And corporate tickets til the end of the season at Villa.

My lawyer mate is pretty sure, if these events have to be cancelled, that they will have to refund. If the football is re-scheduled, then they wouldn't have to refund as that is in the small print - due to sky et al. No idea on concerts.

Also an appointment with a new brain specialist, I would assume as that is the start of April, that will be cancelled. Nothing to do with refunds etc I realise.

Yes, it was easy when we both worked but now it's an extortionately expensive luxury, the funny thing is we used to make a habit of going every weekend we could all year. Now I could be there every week we don't bloody go!

Yes. We didn't use it enough really. Villa came first lol.

I have flights booked to go home with the family in July. I'm hoping Emirates will let us change the dates, I've seen a few airlines doing that. I might change it to Christmas.

I have just cancelled a four night break in Chapel St Leonards next week. One of them Sun holidays. £40 lost but not as bad as what some have lost.
