Corbyn’s wacky far left policies

Difficult knowing who`s wackier than whom in the current political climate. For me, the Tory`s have been very wacky in their nonsensical shutting down, in the name of austerity, of effective emergency services and healthcare; Shameful.

On the other side of the coin, I`m concerned about the wacky security position we could find ourselves in if Mr Corbyn becomes PM. The unthinkable, in terms of withdrawal of key intelligence sharing by the U.S., could actually manifest under a Corbyn led Govt. This would be disastrous.

Then there`s Ms Swinson, who`s been convinced that the Country is gullible enough to think that she`s honouring a cause rather than simply looking to exploit it to increase her number of parliamentary seats.

I`ve never known such a self serving bunch of inept, discreditable, untrustworthy politicians than the collective that currently seek our votes.

I`m tempted not to vote. Where is the middle ground ? By alluding to wacky policies, this thread actually resonates across the current political spectrum, not just Labour. Currently, there`s something seriously wrong and wacky with politics in general. And I haven`t even mentioned the vile, vitriol nature of political "discussion" that is now the norm among the our honourable gentlemen and women. It`s all far too wacky !!!!

Weird and wacky times indeed when people who normally vote are thinking of not voting and people who never vote are tempted to do so....

I'm pretty sure all parties have to have 'wacky' policies these days, otherwise they won't get any media attention. Any news story or announcement is only worth publishing if it's going to generate controversy and arguments amongst the people who read it. If you can manage a 50-50 split then all the better.

Any party that has sensible ideas and policies that most people will agree on will be considered boring and not worth shouting about.

No party will be able or willing to deliver all of their promises. Just vote for the one that is most likely to do at least something good and will do you the least damage lol.

Weird and wacky indeed.

I would rather have a Labour Government than a Conservative one.

I would rather have Boris as PM than Corbyn.

More frictionless untruths from the liar:

http://www.irishnews.com/news/north...-pledge-as-he-highlights-brexit-deal-1759904/

and on the NHS his most recent deception

Tories ‘NHS visa’ isn’t going to make it easier to recruit EU staff to fill its 100,000 vacancies. Currently there are no fees. Tories will still be adding a visa fee & £400 a year compulsoryhealth insurance for staff +£1,000 immigration skills charge for NHS for each worker

It will get worse, it's what he does and no one can pretend they didn't know. Corbyn, or anyone else, is a paragon of virtue by comparison.

I'd rather have Paul the octopus as PM than Johnson. No great PM candidate on offer but Johnson is a dangerous liar, who might take us to very dangerous territory.
And Corbyn promoting anti Semitic is ok is it, calling Jews shylocks, questionable support of IRA, that man will be unfit too lead this country and his own people are saying it (Austin)

Racism is never OK wherever it comes from but please show me a single occasion when Corbyn has said any of that. Baroness Warsi seems unimpressed with her party on racism too. Johnson has of course long form on offensive behaviour, here's one selection among many:

Surely the Labour massive borrowing model is copied from most teams in the Premier League. You borrow as much as possible as long as you can afford the loan (debt ) repayments. It only goes horribly wrong if you get relegated and the income drops. There will, unfortunately, be no parachute payments available to the UK if it goes tits up.
The Tories are planning to borrow about the same amount - so not sure why it's wrong for Labour to borrow and not the Tories

If your right then Wayne, the Tories are going to spend money, I thought they only went for cutbacks, or is that just more socialist scare mongering.

Torys adopting some labour policies to woo the labour leave voters. If you want brexit but would not normally vote tory then it may tempt voters.

The question would be as to whether the torys will go through with the policies as their dna says no. But then the blairites were nearly as bad so would it be any worse to vote for the current tories lol.

You could read the LibDem manifesto issued to-day. Undemocratically ending Brexit is Bollox. The LibDems could only end Brexit if they won a majority in Parliament; then it wouldn't be undemocratic would it?
Err, yes it would be undemocratic. A democratically elected government holds a referendum and the result is to leave the EU. Because implementing this is sabotaged the following democratically elected government ignores the result. So the losers of the referendum get their way. That‘s democracy? It’s the SNP‘s way...a referendum doesn’t count if they don’t win it.

When did Corbyn call Jews "Shylock"? Corbyn does not "support" the IRA. Please don't spout blatant untruths.
You are welcome to make rational criticisms, I'm not a fan of Corbyn myself but your post is ludicrous. Neither did Jogills say it was ok to be anti semitic or pro IRA.

What is the matter with you?

I find it concerning that Johnson can freely spout rubbish and his disciples lap it up unquestioningly.

For the record I don't like the people who think they have joined the Jeremy Corbyn party.

As Tony Benn said, it is not about people but policies. I'm not into putting individuals on a pedestal.

The thing is, right, in a crisis like this, you don't want some beardy bloke with all these weirdo ideas like collecting tax to pay for the NHS and schools and shit like that. No, what you really want, right, is a pissed-up bullshitter making stuff up as he goes along.
