Scenes from the Italiian cup final are disappointing. Reports of incidents outside the ground involving injuries - unclear what has happened - and scenes inside the ground with flares all over the pith ends and the ground filled with smoke. Big gatherings of men in suits in deep discussion. Kick off delayed.

Hope no one is seriously injured but I have to say that if this was happening at Wembley then UEFA would probably inoke massive fines and suspensions for the clubs etc.

We wait to see what is going to happen.

Napoli's Coppa Italia triumph marred by shooting and crowd violence

Napoli clinched the Coppa Italia with a 3-1 win over Fiorentina in Rome, although the game was overshadowed by a fan being shot during crowd disturbances which forced a 45-minute delay to kick-off.

Oh goodness. Given the scenes in the ground I can undertsand why they would have been concerned about calling rhe game off though. Would have been a full scale riot. That said I don't think the game would have been played had that happened in the uk.
