Congratulations Clive

Well done and congratulations to Clive and Roger.

The odd post on here as you'd expect from some, but if you're blind to what Clive's brought to the Club since the turn of 2016 then you've obviously not been paying attention.

We had been saying on here for years that what we needed was an initial injection just to spark interest levels and off we'd go.

No problems with being in SA, either. We have these magical things called mobile phones and laptops now, which makes things much easier (added to Kevin and Liam who run the Club day to day).

And not forgetting that 'Chairman' and 'Vice Chairman' are just titles in an LCFC Boardroom. I'm pretty sure there's no additional voting power.

Some Chairs have a casting vote, of course.

And it's not all about voting. Chairs set agendas, cultures, etc. They are the public face of the top of the Club hierarchy. Not that I have any particular concerns about any of those things with respect to either Clive Nates or Roger Bates, I should add!

Yep, that was the next part of my post but I couldn't quite word it right and left it out!

I am a Socialist remainer; I prefer to reform from within rather standing outside and having a tantrum.

Those within are showing their true colours and are using a bully boy approach, along with massive tantrums.
Other countries are far from happy with the leading role Germany take in Europe.

I saw a tweet the other day which resonated with me. It read. Germany has twice tried to take Europe by force, this time they are taking a stealthy approach.

Can someone please divert this back on topic.

Moving forward its the right decision for the cluband wish Clive and Roger all the best with the appointments. I think Bob has not only done a good job keeping the club above water but has left the position on his own terms. Im sure he will be most welcome back at the club at any time

Good luck to both Clive and roger. Remember we are going through some good times at the moment.
Remember to have your tin hats at the ready for when normal service resumes. ?
