Coming season - Are you Positive or negative

i am very positive as we managed to mould a good core of the team last season and have now added potentially hungry, fast and skilful players. Plus Fuller is good competition on the right.

Depends on realistic expectasions. If we give it a good go and attack then I will be happy if we stay up

I’m neither. Lower-mid table. Depending on wage bill that may be classed as an overachievement?

I don't think that this squad is weaker than last seasons, but I'm not sure it's much stronger either. Somewhere between 13th-17th with some of the younger players coming through would make me happy, but staying up is the main objective.

I'm positive - we have much of the core of last season plus Bingham and one or two other useful looking signings meaning we have cover in all depts., which was not the case last season. It was probably lack of cover that meant the team couldn't sustain the initial effort under SL after the appalling start with AP at the helm. Hopefully, the home form will improve and we can still be a force on our travels. And as Townend commented, some young players coming through.

Positive ! But then I always start the season thinking we'll move mountains. It usually takes until mid October for me to face reality.

Same as Trev. Lower mid table.

I'm not being negative, just realistic imo.

We've spent next to nothing so shouldn't expect much. I like Lovell and believe we should fairly comfortably survive. I can't expect much more. Above mid table would be great.

COYG.

It looks like SL has had to work with a reduced playing (Wage Budget) this season. He is a good manager and if we stay out of the bottom four i will be happy.

Last season the team was always lower mid-table, I don't think there have been any significant additions to change that, not being negative just realistic for our size and budget.
If the players click and overachieve, I will be happy to be proved wrong.

I'm pretty positive. I like the type of signings we've made. I don't think we'll make the play-offs but I reckon we'll be pretty close.

And that'll give the eternal pessimists something to complain about towards the end of the season. So they'll be happily miserable

Lower mid table for me.

Think we've made a couple of decent signings but also some risky and untried ones (which the budget obviously dictates). Hopefully defensively we'll be fairly solid again though. Hopefully the home form will be much improved.

The key as to how high we can climb is going to be whether Eaves and Parker can reproduce the goal returns of last season and I have my doubts, but would love to be proved wrong, as I don't see the other strikers scoring loads. Without that I fear we might be in a bit of bother.

I am feeling very positive .But Lovell is being asked to do a very tough job .Bringing through youth and inexperienced players is difficult in any professional league .Talented or not . But Lovell knows their limits and I believe with our support can do the job he is being asked to do .While the Fuller signing was dismissed by some i see him Zakuani and to a lesser extent Ehmer being very important part of the squad .Having everyone giving everything in every match as Lovell almost achieved last season is key .I believe the players are 100% behind Steve Lovell . If he can keep all the players focused we can move forward over the next few years to a much brighter future .

I honestly think we will struggle to score many goals but will not let many in. Mid table at best, perhaps 14th or 15th come next May.
