Coca-Cola Life

How DARE you say that Vimto is crap!!!!
Being serious, a 1.5 litre bottle of Vimto will last 3 weeks in our house so I'm hardly mainlining on it.

nope that is the difference BBJ... and also, as I've said in a few threads, if people know the facts of what they are eating and drinking, it is then their choice anyway.

But some people guzzle this stuff all day every day and wonder why they are obese, have tooth rot etc!

If you very rarely drink coke I'd recommend if you do feel the need to have the full fat coke

Thanks for that Skeggy. When I do, it is only the full fat coke I drink. The taste of the diet 1 is revolting. Tried it once. Never again. Vile.

I've never understood the success of Coke. I'm just not that bothered by it. It tastes OK, but it wouldn't be my first choice if anything else is available.

I have been looking at the flavoured waters recently as well, and they have loads of sugar or aspartame in them, so they are a no no.

As Fear mentioned earlier, lemon or lime juice in water is healthy and tastes great. It's a good replacement for all these fizzy or sugary drinks.

Ha, I can see your edit. No need to call me a God wurzel, it is sort of an unwritten thing around here and basically a belief I think all share.

:17:

Saw a bottle of the green coke today, wonder what the idea was, it looks gross !

We hang on every word you say Stercutius :17:

Stercutius

Go on, admit it, you're proud of that word! I had to look it up I must admit, I was expecting something less complimentary! LOL

Had to look it up myself, but yes, pretty happy. I do like a quick sniper attack then retreat, but must say of all the posters you do set me up for the odd easy tap in, so whilst I claim the glory, your assist is much appreciated :14:

I see what they've done now, they've used the 'new' and the one they are calling natural sweetner stevia.

Saw a programme on it, think it was a Brazilian crop.

Just looked, South America yeah.

But they are using sugar aswell. 20% of your daily intake per glass.

If they'd just swapped aspartame for Stevia, so it was sugar free and aspartame free then fine.

But they've put the sugar back in, and then added Stevia. Whats the fecking point in that? Might as well just have the normal stuff.

Yup, mental, surely the worst of both worlds?

They are talking about it being 20% (or whatever it was, only briefly read the label) less in calories.

Agree totally though deano, would be more 'impressed' if they did the no sugar one with this stuff instead of the aspartame rubbish.

So many people don't realise they are drinking their daily allowance of calories before they even start on the food and people wonder why they are obese.

Education education education.

Can't believe how lacking it is.

AND THEN people can make their own choice once informed.

I was quite disappointed. Not only in the 'natural' lie but It tastes like cheap flat cola.

I prefer Pepsi.

Do you know what flavour Cola is supposed to be?

Cinnamon and vanilla.

It doesn't taste anything like cinnamon and vanilla.
