Just to update you. My dad wrote to Mark Devlin who has been brilliant.
He responded quickly and said it should never have happened and would like to know who it was that made this decision.
He has invited them up to the Board Room pre match to join in there before a game. He was very apologetic.
Before any cynicism sets in, I am sure that up til now, Mark does not know that my dad is the granddad of Sean, who until January worked for him and is friends with him. I am sure this was Mark being one hundred percent genuine in his annoyance of what happened.
Good on him.
