Club for sale/investment

when I met you John that was one of the first steps on my rehabilitation and if you hadn't just turned up I probably wouldn't have invited you, you ask about the Motorhome, yes using it was fantastic but it was also my prison, it allowed me to travel far and wide and see things, but it was also a second home I rarely stepped outside of when we were away, it was totally unfair and selfish on Lynne who had stood by and cared for me without question.
As well as living life for the moment now, who knows what is around the corner, it is trying to give her back the lost years my issues took away from her.
Well then St. you will do that. You have conquered the worst and you have happy times ahead. It's great that you have had such brilliant support and you have everything to look forward to together. Good luck and enjoy each other.

Don't think ????

You were claiming there was a "latest round of redundancies" earlier now you know of one person who has left his role and that is conjecture if he left of his own accord or was released.

Why make claims when you don't know ??
He’s been made redundant. Fact.

There have also been multiple reports of more redundancies, though I haven’t seen these confirmed.

You only need to log on to LinkedIn and look at the plethora of people who’ve left the club behind the scenes over the last few months.

Not sure what is going on with the media team, but they don’t even use the wafc hashtag anymore for some inexplicable reason. Why you wouldn’t want to reach a key audience at no cost is somewhat baffling.

Danson jnr with his spreadsheet again looking to cut costs I suspect is responsible for this redundancy. And yet some folk seem to think we’ll be splashing the cash on some much needed quality additions.

I would probably have gone to the forum myself Jock but I am on a tour of your homeland, started in Dumfries & Galloway been upt to Oban and onto Ullapool and am now overnighting in Perth via a night in Pitlochry.

We will have a look at the weather tomorrow before tossing the which way to go coin, the last two days have been typical Highland weather, low cloud and drizzle.

We have never done the south east Scotland / borders coastline below Edinburgh so that is our intention.

And thank you for your reply, perhaps some may now understand why I adopt a more positive, or should I say, anti negative stuff attitude, believe me when you have been in the dark for so long it is hard not to thank your new found blessings, it does not change the fact that I know I am still argumentative and opinionated like many on here, but my agenda is somewhat different to the past.
Enjoy the scenery even if the drizzle's taking off the shine 😉
Guess it's only when you suffer a setback / health issue / bereavement etc that u start to realise how fragile we all are & we should take things easier, get less stressed, worried or concerned- easier said than done I guess. Enjoy the trip back down thru the borders 🍻

I've managed to prize Marlene away from Benidorm ( temporarily no doubt ) and we have 2 hols booked for later this year ( we have already done 2 this year in Benidorm including the Flamingo ) ...1st one is a massive leap into the unknown. For the 1st time in my 70 years we are going on a Greek Islands cruise in October. Cyprus, Athens, Santorini, Bodrum, Rhodes, Crete and back to Cyprus . Can't wait ( I think, be reet ). 2nd 1 in December to Hard Rock Hotel , Tenerife...also cant wait. Lad and his family have done both and recommended them both.
Enjoy the cruise....did one around the canary islands with Marella/TUI - couldn't fault it, excellent food& drink, cabin v nice & a decent size ship...only complaint, we tried to do too much, shore visits, shows, bars & excursions- basically sprinting instead of leisurely taking stuff in whilst not cramming everything in.
Did a full week in Santorini - nice but very expensive, especially when cruise ships dock.

What cruise ship, you going on.

We've been on the tui discovery (4 years ago). Going on the tui voyager next year. We did the US/Bahamas on msc 2 years ago. Lovely ship but way too big. I think the tui ships are just the right size.

We're on a 2 week cruise next year so will hopefully have time to take everything in, or most things.

Been on a good few cruises. Royal Caribbean very good. Princess cruises. Brilliant. probably the best I’ve been on. Tui A couple of times . They are all inclusive. Value for money without doubt. P@O. Canaries cruse. Nov. Or feb. March. Less than £550. Fights from Manchester. Included. £180 on board spend. Done it twice.

Done quite a few, P&O, Princess, Royal Carribean. All good, though think RC was probably my favourite. Key is picking a good itinerary and seeing places you normally wouldn’t get to.
Your correct. My youngest daughter got married. On Royal Caribbean. Brilliant. Experience. And was cheaper than a church wedding.

Apparently a style or branding decision.

Madness

Danson could save a fortune by fucking his useless son off.

Has he been made redundant or has he left of his own accord? I've read his post on Facebook. I assumed he left on his own merits.
I've messaged him on FB a few minutes ago,to ask if it's down to cuts or whether he's being replaced and just decided to move on, think club were advertising for media team a couple of weeks or so ago.

Will look later tonight to see if he's replied

We're on same ship but now called Marella.

Wife's a bit mithered about the cable car...probably walk down that zig zag path to port.
