Who else has joined me on cloud 9?
As we watch our team play some of the most sumptuous football to grace the Premier League I cannot help but feel that we are privileged to witness this period in our club’s history. It is a joy to behold and I walk around these days with a permanent inner smile.
Lead by a coach who is confounding his critics, the nay-sayers and the sceptics to deliver a quality of play which is finally being appreciated by the ‘let’s see him do it in the Premier League brigade’ we are enjoying a season to remember. I am so pleased for Pep Guardiola whose approach was often derided last season and has suffered the pundits and hacks sneering at this ‘foreign bloke with his fancy new fangled coaching ideas’ showing that he can improve players and he can deliver results in the ‘most competitive league in the world’.
Long way to go yet but I am currently on Cloud 9.
Anyone else up here with me?
