Clattenburg found guilty of burglary

Before he left the Etihad I expect he went home with a signed Spuds shirt. :shoot:

I don't read the Sun but I gather they're running a story that referee chiefs are investigating claims Clutterf**k has or is joining an agency that represents players.

Even more evidence that video technology and hawkeye Technology would take any bias out of referees hands, but as was pointed out to me in another thread even the technology is not without its controversies but they would be more correct decisions made than wrong ones and you would hope the all teams including Everton who have been on the wrong end of these decisions would fully support such a move.

If you take the ball over the line incident, it was not until the replay that the error was for all to see and is a big case to implement it.

I quite agree Buzz. Long been an advocate of the greater adoption of technology and am convinced it could be made to work

An alternative narrative could be that since our glorious heroes often seem to need to go a goal down before stirring themselves out of their apparent torpefied state and getting their collective head around the concept of actually winning the game. When viewed in that light Clattenberg is actually a (sky) blue who was simply doing all he could to get us to win the game rather than pottering about in search of a draw.

Had Spuds lost I believe they would have serious claims not to have MC officiate at any of their, or our fixtures.

Apologies for the source....
