City’s CAS Hearing Update

I was a bit miffed at this because it would indicate to me that if they had done to one email, they could similarly do it to other that would affect the veracity. However Uefa to base their case purely on these emails and asserting innuendos and assumption is far from any real evidence. I still take in cases like this it is for the prosecution to provide the burden of proof and not the accused.

I also noted that CAS asked Uefa if wanted to challenge the veracity of several high profile witnesses ie accusing them of perjury and therefore fraud and conspiracy. they decline, I can only think they would have had to consult their clients as to the answer but we may never know.

there a time limit of 30 days for Uefa to appeal this judgement.

I don't want to go down that Road that other fans did with us, pronouncing Guilt until the trial/any appeal is over, it maybe that because he backed City they may be out to get him.

As president of UEFA he did broker ye arrangements which saw City accept a fine and squad reduction originally......it would not be beyond the bounds of reason for other powers in the football world to be plotting something.

Der Spiegel claim that they have proof that City lied to CAS

The Manchester Evening News leads with a story of more leaked emails which make claims, but City have issued a statement
“Manchester City’s policy remains not to comment on out of context materials purported to have been criminally obtained from City Football Group and Manchester City personnel.”

The question is what do the Club do about the paper printing these emails which are being treated as evidence of wrongdoing even though CAS has dealt with the case.

David Conn has a serious bug up his ass about the club he used to follow.

What especially hacks me off about this report is his use of speech marks around “leaks” and “leaked” descriptions of the emails - both the original ones and the latest versions. His failure to make any reference to the tampering of the first set is also a sign of his intent - he is SO p*ssed off and bitter about the club, it’s new wealth, changed status and the owners that he cannot bring himself to even acknowledge that when you tamper with ‘evidence’ once, your credibility is shot and ought, at the very least, be questioned ......by any journalist without an axe to grind.

I was surprised that no-one is making any noise about this, just reported it and then moved on quickly. odd don't you think or have they finally got it, that it is a dead duck and its transfer season, which is more exciting.

That looks remarkably similar to sh*t-stirring David the Conn's article in the guardian do simply an attempt at re-amplifying the message with their fans. A common tools these days in the world of Misinformation is to keep repeating lies etc until they become embedded in the minds of the audience. "Well they keep saying it so it must be true". Same model as Trump uses.

Let's please try to keep politics off our City page. Thanks.

Unsurprisingly the Bayern Mafia are at it again in the guise of convicted tax evader ULI Hoeness....

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/uli-hoeness-reignites-war-words-22483867

This is the guy who was convicted in 2014 of evading £24m in taxes, sentenced to serve three and an half years in JAIL (released in 2016 after serving half the sentence. So lessons from the 'moral high ground' are not exactly credible.
