Just Watched City v Spurs
Not only the Blades get nervous when winning 1 - 0
The City players and the fans were very twitchy for most of the second half

I was going to say exactly the same thing. That’s why I’m always amazed when some of our fans try to make out the nerves is just a Blades issue. Every team with anything to win or lose at this stage of the season will be nervous, but it’s like some of our supporters have never seen or experienced it except at their own club.

I’ve just been listening to the Sky pundits talking about Eddy Howe moving to a bigger club and it sounded very much like Wilder. Expansive style of play, going for it home and away etc. You’ve got to think/ hope that we could achieve something similar if we could get over the first season.

Incidentally Tiss reckoned Howe’s style of play was too adventurous and would put bigger clubs off, but Merson reckoned he’d be a great fit for Chelsea who’s fans are crying out for a more attacking manager.
