Over the past few weeks, the Club has been conducting a consultation with all of its Cityzens members to establish whether the Club badge should evolve, and if so, how.

The consultation period has closed with thousands of Cityzens members having given their views via the online Cityzens’ questionnaire and the dedicated consultation space at the Etihad Stadium. Hundreds of fans also attended a series of free lectures on the history of the badge, provided by Football Historian Gary James with many others giving their opinions via City voice.

The badge JB has downloaded is perfect to me in every way fingers X
Particularly like the black outer with the small Maltese cross.
No History Eh !! lol

In fairness the badge that has been leaked does look a little better when on the Sky Blue shirt.
But still nowhere near this.
 
After looking at the NYC and Melbourne FC club badges, my hopes are growing that this is a red herring as both include Football Club around the bottom of the crest with the full Name of club around the top.
With something as important as our future badge the club would not want anything leaked before the big reveal? Fingers and everything else crossed.

I hope you're right, BB. without "football Club" along the bottom it looks top heavy and unbalanced. The clash of colours doesn't sit well with me either.

Yep... The "rivers " being two shades of blue ain't doin it for me , surely sky blue and white!
The more I look at it the more I'm picking out ffs.

A well..... I have went to bed with some stunning women in my day..... Only to wake up with a hangover and a not so good looking woman beside me lol.
I loved them all..... So no doubt I'll grow to love this on our wonderfully CITY BLUE shirt.

At first, I thought it looked OK, but on reflection, I can see the debits others have pointed out.

The overlapping shield on the circle, the two sky blue lines (an anti-conterfeiting measure?), 'Manchester' and 'City' being different, no FC....
If it is a fake, they've gone to a lot of trouble, especially with the rider posters all over the city.

No doubt we'll see on Saturday.
