Just seen a post elsewhere of a game I missed played on this day

1998 City lose 2-1 at home to Mansfield in the Auto Windscreen shield
Danny Allsopp scores.
The crowd was 3007
 
That BMG was a real up and down affair.
Merlin highlighted for a superb piece of control, taking a high clearance over his shoulder and killing it stone dead with one touch.
1-2 down with about 15 minutes left then a late burst; being sat near the BMG youth players at the back of the the family stand and the reactions when goals for both sides went in; and, finally, finding out on the concourse Sevilla's late winner against Juventus led to us topping the group for the first time!

A possible lowest point in our history?

Can't believe the crowd figure is correct - we always got 30k+ when we were trawling our way around the lower leagues, even if it was a/the Cup...
