City Gossip

I have absolutely no problem with his decision to a speak to the issue of mental health  ....my question is why is he defined as “Ex-Manchester City boss....” alone?

He was in charge at City for 18 months (June 2008-Dec 2009) whilst he was in charge of Wales for 5 years, Blackburn for 4 years and Stoke for 5 years (plus stints elsewhere). Why pick up his City affiliation?

He's probably trying to piggyback on our success, since he has none of his own.

Another dig at City piece, I don't think tricksy made a mistake with this player, injuries have blighted Blue Mendy. Many players with injury have failed to get back to where they were

Quite so. It was not an error. He was a great prospect with his pace and those laser accurate crosses whipped in .....but his injuries have robbed him of his pace and the confidence in his body so that he is not the player Txiki identified.

A shame - I still recall the cross for Sané's near post finish in the 5-0 thrashing of the dippers - but not a failure of recruitment, just an effort to deflect from.... let's think....ooh, the rags spending. £53m on Fred maybe?

I think it may be a case of the away kits clashing (they are both dark), after all it's an advertising/promotional issue/opportunity as much as anything else. We should wear our Paisley pyjama kit as a way of drawing attention to such twattedness.

So.....a loss of £126m. I await the clamour of media hacks complaining that City are badly run and are ruining football by not making enough money. It would not surprise me. They do DoubleThink better than most.

In any event this figure does not include approx £10m from the QF appearance in the CL and the sale of Sane (Min £44.7m Max £54.8m) both of which sums were earned after the official accounts were submitted.
