There is a Group Stage Champions League match between City and Bayern at the end of October. Last season, Arsenal beat Bayern 2-0 in their own stadium in Munich. Bayern was a much improved team in the last year, but once the Gunners saw through Bayern they really gunned them and were at the point of scoring 2 or 3 more goals. Bayern collapsed completely under the Arsenal assault.
Chelsea actually beat Bayern in the recent Super Cup. The Swedish referee, from a part of the world well known for cranking out unbelievably incompetent and corrupt referees, destroyed the Chelsea engine by sending off their super midfielder Ramires. There was no foul if you look at the footage carefully. Ramires was just trying to avoid a collision after gaining possession of the ball, but Gotzes inexperience and bad training resulted in a sprained ankle. The referee behaved suspiciously during the match and is a millionaire businessman by profession, and probably just pocketed e few more million for his decision on Ramires. He normally issues very few cards per match, but gave Chelse NINE yellow cards during the match. Unbelievable! Chelsea could easily have won the penalty shootout even with ten men remaining. Bayern was just lucky.
