CITY BAN Manchester City banned from Champions League for two years and hit with £25m fine by Uefa

This is a good read. Stick with it.....there are some gems in there. I especially liked this paragraph.....

"The Premier League seems to accept that 5th place is now a pending Champions League spot opening the door to Sheffield United, Burnley and even, Manchester United and Arsenal." (my emphasis)

Most of this is above me although I imagine lawyers will be rubbing their hands together with glee.

Bet Sheik Mansour didn't envisage this when he was playing jumpers for goal posts in his 70's replica shirt . . .

I think Puma are a god judge, even if we lose our appeal that will not be the end of this. Our Club will seak an injunction and take it to the high court/european court, it could go on for 5 years.

This is the second part of the 93:20 blog, in follow up to post #81 by Skoorb.
The only logical conclusion from reading the first couple of paragraphs is that Delaney is not the only journo to have been briefed on/seen the UEFA case.

an interesting read but in the end it is still not clear which way CAS may flop, but I do take and have always said that how can you try a case twice unless it is a completely different offence not related to the first, however, I am not a lawyer and my guess is just that.

Double jeopardy must not exist in the E row peeing courts. Whatever happens now, I hope we burn those f&**ers to the ground.

One of the things which has escaped the lazy eye of the ‘razor sharp’ football media types is the timing of the UEFA announcement. Both the release of the outcome of the UEFA AC decision on the Friday before the CL resumes and the fact that this compresses the timescale to progress the appeal. Coincidence? I don’t think so. It stinks. I am pretty sure the Adjudicatory Chamber reaches their conclusions weeks ago but UEFA sat in the matter to maximise publicity and pressure upon their target, Manchester City.

As usual, the shallow, sanctimonious, and sheep like media have been less than suspicious and almost completely uncritical of UEFA.

Interesting language from Pep in respect of Barcelona and their president Bartonmeu's support for the UEFA sanctions on City. Sounded very much to me like "people in glass houses......" and the Pep knows where their 'bodies' are buried......

As much as I hate all of this and it's basic unfairness, maybe this is what we need to undo the corruption once and for all. There will be much moaning and gnashing of teeth in the end, and hopefully a few jail sentences.
