On the one hand that sounds ridiculous but given the disparate levels of overall possession stats it puts it in a different light. Unlike other occasions when Pep's teams at Barca and Bayern have throttled back after winning the league I think you found him & the players in a different mood yesterday. No thoughts of beaches and drinks with little umbrellas in them for the squad this time - I think he is driving them on to hit another couple of records (goals/points) and so West Ham, Brighton, Huddersfield and Southampton may find themselves facing the same challenge - getting and keeping the ball long enough to hurt us.

No action to be taken against City in respect of the pitch invasion last Sunday. It seems that as it was celebratory rather than hostile as in th case of what occurred at Wigan’s in the FA Cup the club will be written to but not fined etc
