Stone cup of sick time

Double century looming

Man City 5-1 Leicester

BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

Sergio Aguero has not scored more than three in a game since he hit five against Newcastle in October 2015.

He is now on 197 goals for City.

Wouldn't be surprised if he reaches 200 before the end of the month.

More bitter toss selected from loads of emails etc by BBC. After Sheikh Mansour getting bored 6 seasons ago, now it's Pep. This just drives me on!

Jamie Robinson:

The good news is Pep Guardiola will only be at Man City for another two seasons before he gets bored and moves on. Then the rest of the teams can try and win the league again. Apart from Arsenal...

'I love watching this team'

Man City 5-1 Leicester

Former Manchester City striker on BBC Radio Manchester

What. A. Goal!

Brilliant play by young Phil Foden, stays on his feet, plays it back to Aguero, 25 yards out and he absolutely leathered it. I love watching this team.

So do we Paul

Pep will have loved Sergio scoring those goals and it will spur Sergio on as we hit the run of games over the next weeks.

His dander will be up :001:

'Guardiola's City better than Invincibles'

Man City 5-1 Leicester

Paul Dickov

Former Leicester City striker on BBC Radio Leicester

It's hard to compare era's. There's Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson and the Invincibles - But this team is better.

People will say they haven't won anything - they've already won the league.

The confidence, the enthusiasm, the age of the team. This team will go down as one of the best ever.

Remaining League Games:

I still say there are some killers in that lot...

Arsenal A
Chelsea H
Stoke A
Brighton H
Everton A
rags H
Spurs A
Swansea H
West Ham A
Huddersfield H
Southampton A

Can I just say I changed my top at half time?

My 2011/12 Champions t shirt needed some back up so I swapped my M&S sweater for a City sweatshirt :026:

Just saying....... :103:

MOTD running order: ManC/Lei, Tot/Ars, Eve/CP, WHU/Wat, Swa/Bur, Sto/Bri. Only 6 games but no shortage of quality action. @BBCOne at 10.30.

Normal service resumed ahead of a very tough run of games. The perfect time to score a hatful.
Jesus imminent return.
Spanish Dave similarly.
Sane not long after.
Delph and Mendy near end of season.
- All well rested. Bring em back fully fit, new signings the lot of them.

Raheem Sterling speaking to MOTD:

"The game seemed like it came forever to come around after the Burnley result, I couldn't wait to get back out there, and get another chance to make amends for my miss.

"Especially at home we come out real quick and try to be direct, I think we played brilliantly today, the boys did really well and of course Sergio Aguero was a different class today."

"He's a phenomenal striker - he scores all different types of goals - tap-ins, cheeky chips and screamers - and we've seen that today. It was always going to be a matter of time before he overtook my goal tally."

PEP:

"The first half we started well with the first goal but after that we were not in the right positions to play quicker. In the first half we were not perfect. Leicester are so complicated. Especially, Vardy, who is so dangerous. After that we controlled the game.

"When one guy scores four goals, he Sergio deserves all the credit. He fought, he played really good, he scored goals. In Burnley we miss a lot of chances but today we were there. We are strong at home. We feel comfortable here at home.

"Today it is 16, tomorrow it could be 13. There is still a lot to play but I don’t know what will happen. But to have 72 points in February, it’s a lot. I would like to take that question after 38 games. We have a lot of injuries and in the next games if we get players back, it will be good.

"But so far it’s been so good. We enjoy what we have done a lot, but we need to lift titles. If we can keep this spirit for the rest of the season, for the other teams it will be tough."

MORE PEP:

"Sergio has an amazing talent in the box, so we try to create a lot of chances to score the goals he does, and he always does. Congratulations to him because it's not easy to score four goals.

"It was difficult to play them in the first half with them playing a 4-5-1, but in the second half we found more space with the wingers. In general it was a good performance against a good team.

"My advice for the players is not to think how many games are left, just to look to the next one. Everytime we dropped points this season, the next game we won, which is so, so important. Keeping that consistency is so important for us. If we are able to win the title it will be something special for us.

"We have had a lot of injuries - Gabriel Jesus, David Silva, Benjamin Mendy - but hopefully we can fight for every game in all competitions. We can try and do absolutely everything. But we can drop points, lose games, but as long as we are who we are."
