Already looks a better option than Laird at RWB, a better balance between defence and attack and better in our own box when he needs to defend.

I felt he was a contender for MOTM yesterday in the Preston win. Made some crucial interceptions, was busy up and down the right, some good forward runs and made another inside run with a decent left footed strike.

Latibeaudiere is doing a solid job on the other side but it's clear we need a natural left footer there.

Fate has dealt us a kind hand with Laird departing as Christie looks the better all round player so far.
Couldn’t agree more on his attributes, he isn’t afraid to shoot either with two good saves from Iversen stopping him getting on the scoresheet

Russ wanted Laird to start scoring goals and it looks to me like Christie might get 1 or 2. He looks like a strong runner, competes well and can cut in on what appears a decent left foot.
