Chorley.

I’ve only seen the goals from today but it looks like Saydee and Costelloe could be a promising partnership. I can’t remember the last time we saw a one-two between our attackers lead to a goal and then they linked up again for the second goal.

Just based on his opening 5 minute K'marni Miller will be a starter this season
Sorry Gaz, I thought he had a mare ?? Passed directly to their attackers twice in our own half with several other mistakes and was hooked after 25/30 minutes by Lowe..???

I suppose we see things differently....BUT he is only young and he will learn from that but nowhere near ready for L1 imo.

I think his substitution was planned. While he gave the ball away twice (after that opening 5 minutes I would add) but that was not any different to 16 or 17 of the other players who played.

He was playing out of position but looked like he had a willingness to run at and scare defenders. Needs work but I reckon we'll see plenty of him before the end of the season.

I might be jumping the gun myself but I noticed that too when watching the goal highlights.

The good thing with us having more options in attack is we can swap things around if someone is out of form or injured and we have players on the bench who can come in and score. Last season we didn’t have this and were relying on Dale Taylor on his own for most of the season.

Asamoah looks alright to me as the 4th striker. He can link up well with any of the other three.
He may be a bit raw and Lowe may choose to add another, but I have confidence that he will be okay.
Well we have had players adapt before.
Sir Andrew and also Lee McCulloch are two magnificent players who could play as wingers or strikers. If he can match them then he'll be a belter and he has a lot more pace than either.

There were some strange things last season.

He certainly has more pace than Lids and McCulloch he just needs to get the experience and guile to read the game like those two.
He is a lot younger and has the backing and nous of a good striker as his manager as had the others in Jewell, so I think he could do the job of the fourth striker no problem.

His pace is his weapon just now .. the way he left those Barnsley defenders , and from15 or so yards inside his own half, in that manner, is going to worry/test opposing defenders .. also scored from chasing down a ball played over the top , keeper/defenders were split so he took advantage .. was it Aimson who played it forward ??

Edit .. he covers nearly 80 yards in 8 seconds against Barnsley , not running directly , but around two defenders then down the wing before cutting in , and quite rightly imho 'shooting ' .....can see several red cards against him .. a further diamond in the making .. ??? I think so . .. with Costello/Mullin/Saydee the poachers ..

Kai Payne at Chorley, not going to Spain, going on loan to Div 2.

Lowe alluded to a few problems, hence drafting in 2 under 21s - Graham & Brenan (forward and midfield)

"Others will move out on loan"
