Cheltenham Vs Swansea

Another embarrassing and inept display against lower league opposition.
Weak in defence, weak in attack and clueless in midfield, no idea how to break the opposition down.
Cheltenham scored two and hit the woodwork twice. All we could muster was an own goal. Yes it’s only a friendly but how demoralising against a team who played two trialists, one of who scored, and were well beaten 3-0 by Wycombe last Saturday.
Lastly that commentator, Anthony O’Connell I think his name is, almost sent me to sleep with his slow speaking and boring input.

I don't like to take too much notice of pre-season friendlies as they are largely for fitness but then again I'd still expect to see some sort of training ground plays but it all seemed a bit basic and the only thing we really tried was for long balls for the wide players to chase. We need to see some improvement in our general play. And regardless of performance, looking at the squad and bench, we're still at least 3 light.

League Two Cheltenham finished 15th in the table last season and conceded 70 goals playing the likes of Morecambe, Harrogate and Accrington Stanley.
No disrespect but we, as a team playing two leagues above, couldn’t even score a goal against them last night.
We badly need an established goal scorer, an experienced midfielder, and cover at the back. Cullen is not a number 9, Fulton is not a central defender, both played in those positions last night.
