Envoi Allen is as near a certainty that you could get in National Hunt racing , but anything could happen like pulling a muscle or something.

On balance I think I would cash out.

They interviewed him on the Opening Show and he put the bet on last June. He got Envoi Allen at 9/2 as well.

He has done a deal with Betfair now. If Envoi Allen wins he gets £322,000 and if it loses he in for a mere £250,000.

Fair play to him though.

Reasonable day so far with 3 places and 2 wins out of 6 races so far... only let down was Envoy Allen in the 1st.

Need Royal Kahala for a £60 profit.

Fortunately I was late getting home so didnt bet on the 1st race, as Zanahiyr lost.

Some very difficult looking races today and I very rarely pick the winner in the Gold cup.
