CHELSEA WOES CONTINUE

CITYBOY1000

Vital Champions League
Lost to Stokies on penalties.

5-4 on pens after 1-1 draw. Played the 30 minutes of extra time against 10 Stokies as well.

Where is this all going to end ?

I have a wry smile about the whole Chelsea/Maureen thing. Do you remember when we were the only circus in town?

She did give him an evil glare when she came off the pitch and walked past him that time.

You could be right BD.

I see Moaninho has reverted to a charm offensive rather than his standard BS 'angry at the world it's all so unfair everyone is against us blaming everyone but the team or myself' routine. Not sure which makes me feel more queasy.

In the UK & World football forum hopefully :duck:

it is great fun though isn't it. Couldn't be happening to nicer bloke

I seem to remember a few years back when we finished 10 points off the top and it was listed as the worst title defense in the history of football.

We then saw the rags finish 20 points back after winning, no article about how poor their title defense was.

Chelsea is now 11 points back after 10 games, and yet no mention of how poorly they are defending their title.

I must be paranoid... :why:

Ex-Chelsea doctor Carneiro seeks constructive dismissal claim

I'm no lawyer but I think she will have a pretty strong case. His actions and comments called her competence and professional behaviour into questions and undermined her position and credibility within the club making her situation effectively untenable. Sounds like constructive dismissal to me.

Big decision looming - I suspect they will offer a massive out of court settlement with a non-disclosure clause to prevent the airing of dirty laundry.

Either way so glad to see the circus has left town and set up camp in London

Moaninho using his pre match press conference to deliver his latest excuse to get sacked by claiming he "couldn't guarantee a top 4 finish" this season.

My interpretation of this latest pronouncement is that he is daring Abramovich to get shot of him early while he endures difficult times so whatever happens at the end of the season he has a a get out clause. If they improve without him he would claim he could have turned it around, if they don't he would claim that they would have turned it around had he given more time.

......and his post match interview after the Liverpool defeat was once again comical. Honestly he is such a narcissistic twat and alluded to a conspiracy with his team being able to play any team, any manager but there are 'other things' against them.

Goodness me it is tiresome.

Chelsea is suffering from an affliction I like to call "non-biased officiating" which is really doing them in. No longer will they get calls for dives or generous penalties that are incredibly soft. Same thing with the rags and the dippers.

Quite so Philly.

I see John Terry has said that he and all the players are 100% behind their manager.

Well, you have to be behind someone to stick the knife in their back. :95:
