Buzz Lightyear

Alert Team
Pep Guardiola says a game every three days, we are tired, so must everyone else be and this is the FA's way of giving them a winter break.

Another injury, this time Aguero, but with this brings Gabriel Jesus a chance to start games to get that sharpness back into his game, it was missing at the Watford game, but he will be more alert and game savvy in the Chelsea match.

Club connections- Kevin de Bruyne, Shaun Wright Phillips, Peter Bonetti (coach) Wayne Bridge, Frank Lampard, Clive Allen, Nicholas Anelka, Danny Granville, Mark Hughes (Manager) Derek Kevan, Terry Phelan, Scott Sinclair, David Rocastle, Alex Stepney (coach) Daniel Sturridge.

Possible City Starters
Ederson
Walker Stones Laporte Zinchenko
Fernandinho, Gundogan
Sterling Bernardo, Sane
Jesus.

Officials for the game:-
Referee: Michael Oliver
Assistants: Stuart Burt, Simon Bennett

Think I'd like Delph in at left back.

Merlin in midfield - or more impact sub off the berti?

Stories today of Hazard being off to Real (again) sometime next year, perhaps him and Brahim could warm up together in a 'getting to know one another' routine?

8 games this month Kenny. they cannot play them all, I think Pep may rest Ferna in midweek and use delph in his place, Zinchenko will do Ok at Chelsea.

I would play the Dog right mid to give a bit more bite to our midfield and offer Walker more help to keep Hazard quite. Chelsea at home is always tough, we must score first and then we should be OK to finish them off.

The starting XI for last season's pivotal win at the home of the then reigning PL champions:-

Ederson, Walker, Stones, Otamendi, Delph, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Silva, Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Sterling

The only changes this time will be Laporte replacing Otamendi and Bernardo for De Bruyne who is not yet fit.

This win was regarded by many as the moment the squad felt they could go on and win the league title. They would do well to retain the same focus that they showed last time out
