Chelsea trainer to join the Frank Lampard Army

Certainly a lot more experience than those who left yesterday.
Maybe we should just make the away kit the home kit and rename the stadium...Stamford Park.
 
Stamford Park does sound a lot better than Pride Park. Never have liked that name. Baseball Ground had more to it.

Thought it lacked imagination at the time it was named as it was Pride Park STADIUM pride Park. Not bad to name the area Pride Park but the stadium still lacks that certain oomph!............. As there have been very few times we can be proud of the football within it....................controversial I know :halo:
 
Quite agree Bloomer, it always seemed to be lacking imagination and tempting fate to me...pride coming before a fall and all that, which has certainly seemed to be the case more often than not.
Never liked the name and would always have preferred something else ...the New Baseball Ground, Pickering Park or even something relating to the immediate location and County aspect...Derwentside or Derwent Park perhaps.
Time for a change imo, but at least we’ve avoided the worst of names directly related to advertising...imagine if we’d followed Leicester’s lead and become the ‘Just Eat Stadium’!
