This is another one of those "is it just me" type threads.....
Is it just me (there was a clue earlier) or have Chelsea and their ex-manager getting a massive free pass for their appalling early season form? This thought flew into my head this morning as I listened to the BBC reports on R5L this morning comment on how well they had done against a strong PSG side given "PSG's squad depth". There was absolutely no mention of Chelsea's squad depth (as there has constantly been in respect of City) and it struck me that I have not heard or read any substantive condemnation of how sh*t they were under Mourinho.
.....next thought was "hang on, in all the garbage being fed into the media about how the moaning one, I don't recall any comment on the contrast between Hiddinck's success in stopping the rot and how poor they were under Mourinho. Surely, having only suffered their first loss since Hiddinck took over the source of their poor form points clearly at their previous coach"?
Just seems to me that the media are conveniently ignoring the impact The Moaning One had on one of the country's most successful teams whilst they pedal the BIG story of his impending arrival at The Swamp.
