Ched

Turning into a good loan, if he can stay fit and get his confidence. I still doubt that he can do it at Championship level, but I guess Tufty will have a view on that in January.

I think the key for Ched is if he can stay fit and playing games for a few months. The last time he was truly match fit was probably the game before he was sent down.

If he can and he keeps on scoring anything is possible, and maybe, just maybe he could be a real asset for us in the New Year.

Some reckon Ched's never done it at this level but dint he do well at Norwich durin a loan spell from City and let's not forget he was our top scorer when we went darn to league one.I know he wasn't prolific that season but we played very poorly that season did were not? I hope he stays fit and comes back to BDBL in't new year.UTCB

Agreed. I’ve just seen the highlights, he looked sharp and far more like his old self. Heavily involved apart from getting the 2 goals.

You have to give Barton some credit for a gamble that is clearly paying off. Can we get him back in the JTW if this form continues ?.

Good news a fit and firing Ched will be useful from January onwards. Jean Hatchett and the PC brigade will be dusting down their twitter accounts. Hope so.
I think somewhere like Fleetwood is exactly the right place for Ched to finally shake people like her off the scene, (I was going to say off his tail but thought better of it). Low profile, not much media and IF we do recall him and she pipes up again, we’ll know that her issue is more about vindictiveness than reason.

He’ll have a dozen or so goals by Christmas the rate he’s going. Can he be recalled at any time?
January Charlie,i dunt think clubs can loan players for a month anymore it's for a full window unless it'a an emergency keeper loan.I'm sure Tufty said we'd look how Ched was doin in January and decide then.UTCB

I think the heat went out of this after his retrial Gray, (which I don't want to get into the rights and wrongs of...) People do have the right to express their view whether we like it or not, whether we agree with it or not. There were lots of people (not just the Jean character) who felt with some justification that you should not just roll Ched back into the club after his release as if nothing had happened, and I think that was fair comment. I think it was grossly naive of McCabe to imagine that the club would not be strongly criticised, and have to rethink its actions.

However, that is now a long time ago, and no-one cares anymore. He is a Sheffield United player and will be supported as such, so long as he pulls on the shirt and gives of his best. I still have my doubts, but if his form continues then he should get his chance in the main squad in January.
