Ched Evans Signs for Oldham

Quite surprised by this one, they've got balls but I think it's more stupidity to be fair.

It's a results and money game, but what price a reputation?

At least his wag will be happy though, she must have been having second thoughts about sticking by the unapologetic entitled rapist when there was no guarantee he'd be a footballer anymore.

I think Evans like Lee Hughes when he signed for Notts county should have been kicked out of the game, it is wrong they get the chance to earn and play a sport good honest players don't get the chance too, shame on Oldham.

Imagine the s*** he's going to get, perhaps that is the good thing, for at least 1 season every opposition crowd is going to be ripping him to absolute shreds, women will be going just to abuse him lol.

They've already lost their sponsors, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Absolutely mind boggling why they went along with this.

Wish we'd signed him, would have been a perfect excuse to end my ties with the club! :3:

Apparently he was asked the best way to Oldham and he said by the throat whilst pounding away...

The Ched Evans rape case is more a comment of todays morals. Regardless of the result of any appeal, Evans did end up in a hotel having sex with a woman his mate had met that night and he had never met before he got to the hotel.

It speaks volumes of what Tiger Woods called the sense of entitlement some of these people have. Would I want him at Villa? No. Is he guilty of rape?. A grey area? Would he have been charged if he wasn't a footballer? The other guy didn't get found guilty.

It's a grey area this. Not black & white.

Imagine the boos he's going to get when he scores.

I thought Blackpool would be signing him, seeing as their chairman is the son of a convicted rapist

PMSL i know ishould not laff at these jokes about a rapist but fook me there is some good ens LOL

Difficult isn't it. Morally I wouldn't want him anywhere near a club that I supported. By the law he's been punished and is now free to resume his life.

They do live in a different world though. I know a guy who owns a number of high end hotels in London. One night he got a call from his son asking him to go to one of their hotels. There were a number of premier league footballers there and his son was losing control over the situation.

When he got there they were putting £5k a time behind the bar in a private room, buying bottles of champagne at £250 a bottle and spraying each other with it. In the corner of the room was an inflatable jacuzzi with several naked ladies and in another part of the room 3 guys were having sex with a woman who was laughing and shouting for more. I know one of the players for sure but not the rest.

They have no sense of reality and Evan's is probably totally perplexed as to what the problem is.

Oh and Raj told his son not to worry as long as they were spending money he'd arrange a cleaning company to sort it all out.

That is a look at the other side of the coin scenario ay it Cheshire dude, these footballer's am young men that have the world at there feet financially thesedays so must get a feeling of special powers type of thing, business's can't afford to turn down that kind of kudo's being spent,,,,,,,,but more importantly a woman shagging three blokes and shouting for more,,,,blimey greedy cow.

Interestingly Ched's gf is a millionaire's daughter, I figured she was a gold digger who was clinging to him for dear life, but it seems she already has money. The millionaire has apparently been funding Ched since he got out too. Strange lot.

Have you once wondered if he is actually guilty? He has maintained he is innocent throughout, the case itself IMHO is not cut and dried, I wonder how many men are locked up because of false accusations by women, a good percentage I would wager, a drunk female has consensual sex, her boyfriend finds out and suddenly it is rape, the "victim" usually wins, because women usually do, high value targets such as footballers are good targets for 15 mins of fame.

I remember my old man coming home one night, he looked pale and shaken, it turned out that he had picked up a female hitchhiker who was crying and saying that she had been attacked, he offered to take her to the local police station or where ever she wanted, she said the police, outside the station she told my father that if he didn't give her all his money she would scream rape, he paid her, she got out and walked away laughing.

Women aren't always the victims.

So is it fair that a man loses his ability to work in his chosen profession for life, on the word of one female and a questionable conviction?

What say you Clive?

Yeah it's all f***** up really, young dumb chavs with more money than sense, gold digging slags who throw themselves at them, and people who turn the other way because they throw money at them.

Yeah you're right, it definitely happens, I bet everyone knows, or knows someone who knows a girl who has done that or a bloke who has been set up like that. I know a girl who did and was found out.

They never seem to get punished either. They should get the same sentence the man would get for the rape, or double. It's a hard thing to prove though, especially with drink involved, maybe it would be an idea for footballers and celebs to have a guy with a breathalyser, film camera, and a consent form with them at all times just in case.

It's a grey area regarding the conviction. We don't know the exact details of the case so it's hard to comment but you'd hope a jury would get it right.

In my opinion if you make a decision when drunk its your own fault, although as I said I don't know the case so don't know what really happened so I'm not going to comment on whether or not he raped her, all I can say is he was convicted (and I have faith in the system), so I guess that's the only thing that needs to be considered.
