Ched Evans cleared of rape

Footballer Ched Evans cleared of rape after retrial at Cardiff Crown Court.

So after all this time he has been cleared. I havent followed any of this case but what new evidence came to light to get this verdict.
 
He's still a scumbag but from what I read the rape conviction seeemed unjust first time round so not shocked it's been overturned
 
There was a big thread on this froum about this case, I cant find it but spursgirl was saying that the evidence against him was not solid and it turns out he was innocent all along. Years of his career down the toilet.

He's done time in jail.
She is still not named in the press.
What a fair and just legal system we have.

Hopefully The Telegraph will spend a few months setting her up , they seem to have picked up where the NOTW left off :15:

Or maybe fund a private lawsuit against her by Evans, would she be named then while he could remain anonymous lol .
 
I swear I got called a rape-apologist for suggesting that we don't crucify a guy before he's gone through the full trial and appeals system...

This thread seems decidedly less like a lynch mob and decidedly less full.

Her sexual history and those who gave 'evidence' were paid to do so.
 
surely there should at least be a criminal charge brought to bear for calling himself the ridiculous sounding name of Ched....
 
WTF was he doing shagging a drunken slag with his mate ? Surely that's weird. She's pissed and he says can I have a go. Where is his pride and decency.? Do stupid things and reap what you sow.

Any decent human being would say, come on let's let her sober up and get her home. Not empty your load in it for good measure.
